Artist, Lisa Anderson has been carving for over 13 years. This carving is done in beautiful cotton wood bark. It is shown here in its natural color and has been finished with an acrylic spray to help protect it if used outdoors.

ARTIST COMMENT: There are Wood Spirits legends in almost every culture as far back as history goes. In Europe, they are called "green men". Other countries have other names for them. It is said that they are playful, mischievous Spirits, who will play mean tricks on bad people, and grant wishes for good people. I hope you will enjoy him, as much as I enjoyed creating him !!
