Hand Carved Wood Spirit - Chanting
This guy is either yelling or maybe he is chanting. His eyes are squinting and his mouth is open. He is almost 18 1/2" long and the carving itself is about 7". Each wood spirit is hand carved from thick cotton wood bark, one at a time. No two will ever be alike. Artist's signature and date have been carved into the back. Back also has been flattened and a hole drilled for hanging. Carved from wood found in Wyoming. Pictures are a little lighter than the Wood Spirit actually is.
