One of our favorite carvings! Pretty much perfect with beautiful wood and very thoughtfully carved. BIG! Slightly lighter than picture shows.

Many years ago these knots were just limbs on towering pines in the Oregon countryside. After years of exposure to the elements, they have been knarled, twisted, and sculpted by nature's hand.

These beautiful knots and limbs serve as the perfect medium for woodcarver/sculptor, Randall Harrison. He sees a uniqueness in each piece of weathered wood, revealing a character within the graceful curves and contrasting wood tones.

Each unique creation is absolutely facinating. A very natural and soothing attraction is captured within his work. Randall never knows just "who" is in each piece of wood until they reveal themselves to him. He spends much time in the outdoors searching woodlands, streams and rivers for just the right pieces to spark his imagination. After studying each one he begins the process to reveal the face from within.

Carved one at a time by hand these wood carvings are not casts, but one of a kind natural wood carvings. Each one is uniquely different. MADE TO HANG ON THE WALL. Sure to bring a smile to all!
