Composition / Construction: Our Log Beds are made using mortise and tenon construction. Cedar is the natural choice because of its beauty, practicality and durability. Rustic Cedar uses only the finest cedar to create furniture that lasts for generations. It is naturally resistant to decay, insect and weather damage. Because of this superior resistance, cedar is frequently used for outdoor fencing, and siding on homes. Cedar has an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio, which means that it is both durable and easy to move about. It does not shrink or wrap as many other woods commonly do. Unlike pressure-treated wood furniture, Rustic Cedar uses no chemical preservatives that may be harmful to your family's health.

Assembly: All of our beds are delivered partially assembled (in knock-down form) and require some easy assembly with common household tools. Dressers, Armoires and Nightstands ship fully assembled.
Finish: Natural Unfinished Cedar’s beauty, practicality, and durability prove it to be a superior choice for furniture. When left in the sun, its creamy white color gracefully weathers to a silvery gray. The Western Red Cedar found in the Arbors and Garden items likewise naturally ages from its rusty red to Rustic Cedar’s characteristic gray. All Rustic Cedar items may be used indoors or out, and may be painted or stained as desired.

Transit Time / Shipping: Twin, Double and Queen Beds ship using UPS or Federal Express and will take 5-7 days in transit. King Beds will be delivered by motor freight and will take 5-10 days in transit. In most cases you will be notified 24 hours in advance of you scheduled delivery date and time. All items must be inspected for damage prior to signing the freight bill. If the driver will not wait for you to inspect the shipment please write on the freight bill: "driver will not wait to inspect for damage". Failure to do so may prohibit us from being able to replace the damaged pieces at no charge to you. Free Freight offer applies to all Continental U.S. 48 states only.
Options / Upgrades: This item is not customizable. Headboard ONLY also available, order select size above. Additional metal center supports for your rustic cedar log bed are also available if needed. These are not necessary for twin and full sizes, and optional but may be recommended for queen and king size log beds. The need for these mattress supports depends on your current mattress & box spring setup. If you have a standard mattress and box spring you should be fine without the extra supports. They may be ordered later separately should you find you need them.
Warranty / Care Instructions: This bed is backed by a 2 Year Manufacturers Warranty and is guaranteed to be as described. Please note that due to the rustic Nature of Log Furniture some variance is expected and lends to the unique nature of the furniture. Unfinished furniture should be cleaned with a dry towel or cloth, finished items should be wiped down with a damp cloth. Unfinished items can be “freshened up” by using a light grit sand paper gently over surface dirt or scuffs.
Checking: All cedar log furniture is subject to the natural process of checking as the wood "seasons." Checking occurs as wood releases moisture across or through the annual growth rings and it does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood. Therefore cracks in Cedar furniture are quite normal and can happen at any time. The cracks can vary in sizes but are sure to not affect the quality or resistance of the product as this is a natural process of Cedar furniture. Cracks are a natural occurrence in all log furniture and may not be covered under your warranty or be an acceptable reason for return. Some smaller items ship via FedEx or UPS Ground and take 5 business days in transit.
Most Larger items will be delivered by Motor Freight Truck, with Curbside Delivery Service and will take 5-10 days in transit. Lift-gate Service, Indoor Delivery or White Glove Services are not included but may be available in select areas for an additional charge. Please call to inquire (866) 564-3876.
Occasionally, if you live in a very rural or inaccessible area, Free Delivery will not be available to your home. If this is the rare case we can work with the Trucking Company to arrange for you to pick up your order at a local terminal free of charge, or we can arrange for an inline carrier to deliver to your home at an additional charge. Please notify us in advance if your address is inaccessible to a Freight Truck and we will work with you to find alternate solutions.
