Each piece of the Alpine Bed is hand hewn or draw knifed by hand to give it its own unique character, a truly classic way of making great log furniture.
The Alpine log bed is complete and consists of headboard, footboard, siderails and bed slats, or it can be purchased at a discount as a headboard only and can be connected to your own metal bed frame. Finishes include clear lacquer and a lite honey pine (shown) and the available sizes include king, queen, full (double) and twin.
All solid wood construction ensures a very stable bed that will last for years. Some easy final assembly is required. Log beds are available unfinished, in a clear finish, or in a medium honey finish.
Ships in an average of 2 weeks for clear finish. Other finishes take take approx 1-2 weeks longer.

About Shipping: Twin, Double and Queen Beds ship using UPS or Federal Express and will take 5-7 days in transit.
King Beds will be delivered by Motor Freight Truck, with Curbside Delivery Service and will take 5-10 days in transit. Lift-gate Service, Indoor Delivery or White Glove Services are not included but may be available in select areas for an additional charge. Please call to inquire (866) 564-3876.
Occasionally, if you live in a very rural area, Free Motor Freight Delivery will not be available to your home, if this is the rare case we can work with the Trucking Company to arrange a meeting place, you can opt to pick up your order at a local terminal, or we can arrange for an inline carrier to deliver to your home at an additional charge. Please notify us in advance if your address is inaccessible to a Freight Truck and we will work with you to find alternate solutions.
When items ship motor freight, in most cases you will be notified 24 hours in advance of you scheduled delivery date and time. All items must be inspected for damage prior to signing the freight bill. If the driver will not wait for you to inspect the shipment please write on the freight bill: "driver will not wait to inspect for damage". Failure to do so may prohibit us from being able to replace the damaged pieces at no charge to you.
